About the Opportunity :

My client is seeking a motivated Intern Architect or Architect with intermediate experience to join their growing team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects while developing your skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop innovative design concepts and create compelling presentation materials.
Prepare working drawings and coordinate rezoning, development permit, and building permit submissions.
Support coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases.
Maintain design intent and attention to detail during construction documentation and administration.

What You Bring to the Role :

Registration or eligibility for registration with the AIBC.

Strong design and visualization skills, with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Experience with permit submissions and working drawings.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.

Experience with wood-frame and mid-rise multi-family housing projects.

Familiarity with the BCBC and local land-use bylaws.

Construction administration experience, including site visits and contractor coordination.

An interest in conducting feasibility studies and early-stage project planning.
