Our client, a well established and friendly law firm located in downtown Toronto is looking for a Real Estate Clerk with commercial purchase, sales and lending experience.
Responsibilities :
Carriage of Commercial Real Estate files from beginning to end Preparation of all related documents for purchase and sale transactions, mortgage transactions, routine loan transactions and refinancing (on behalf of borrowers from both private and institutional lenders) Review title searches and prepare title memorandum, prepare off-title search letters, oversee off-title searches and draft requisition letters and responses Deal directly with clients, financial institutions, municipalities, land registry offices and title insurance companies
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk with some exposure to commercial real estate matters. Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program in a legal assistant or law clerk program Proficiency with Teraview and Unity is required
