Our client, an internationally acclaimed Manufacturer is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and drive FP&A communications across North America.

Are you a CPA designated finance professional with exceptional business partnering skills?

Do you have experience working with international companies, particularly within the Manufacturing industry?

Do you excel at leading communications between finance and non-finance leaders and have a forensic mindset to drill down for effectiveness?

    • Responsibilities

    As the Finance Manager, you will act as a Finance Business partner for all Accounting & Finance functions within the organization and will communicate with all departments across Canada and the USA

    Having the following experience is required to ensure success!

  • Responsible to deliver Group Financial Reporting and meet the needs of the North American leadership team
  • Prepare the budgets and provide strategy updates to the leadership teams across North America
  • Provide strategic decision making
  • Develop and implement financial business optimization plans
  • Work closely with the Plant Controllers to understand and report on plant performance, productivity and capability utilization
  • Act as the interface between the Business Units Regional teams and Corporate
  • Lead and develop the North American Controlling team with dotted line reports in India as well
  • Responsible for the organization of all inventory counts in line with existing policies
  • Supervise tax, treasury, accounting, reporting to ensure follow up and compliance

    • Qualifications

  • CPA designated preferred (will also consider MBA)
  • Expert knowledge of IFRS and knowledge of Canadian GAAP & US GAAP
  • Must have experience working with an international company and oversight on both Canada & US Finance operations
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, plant controlling
  • Project management skills
  • Proficient in SAP preferred and Power BI
