Responsibilities include but are not limited to : - Install, repair, maintain and replace a variety of commercial roofing systems with a focus on Modified Bitumen (Mod-Bit) roofing system.- Install, repair maintain and replace single ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics or asphalt compositions.- Use of hand tools and power tools for installation.- Install vapor barriers and / or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs and seal the seams.-Cut roofing paper to size using knives; and nail or staple roofing paper to roofs in overlapping strips to form bases for other materials.-Work at heights while following safety protocols. Who Are We Looking For? -1+ years of roofing (commercial) experience is an asset.-Experience with Mod Bit roofing system.-Have own driver’s license and method of transportation.-Valid Fall Protection certification is an asset.-Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy.
