Business Analyst (SAP Concur)

Job Description

One of our clients is looking to hire a Concur Business analyst on a contract basis. Responsibilities :

• Provide business acumen to understand and address business problems, ensuring optimal system configuration to exceed client expectations.
• Gather advanced functional and business requirements from clients and translate them into solution suggestions.
• Administer system solutions at a global level while managing specific features and functionalities at a local level.
• Liaise with various business groups and Concur resources to ensure a clear understanding of problems and requirements.
• Manage client expectations by understanding key business drivers and their prioritization.
• Escalate issues to designated specialists and cross-functional teams promptly to ensure efficient resolution.
• Perform issue identification, communication, and resolution for moderately complex issues.
• Ensure the completion of deliverables, manage schedules, meet milestones, and ensure creative and technical success.
• Communicate concisely and consistently on issues and progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct functional reviews of various configuration modules.
• Assist in identifying usage gaps to increase adoption levels.
• Comply with all corporate policies.
• Understand the Travel and Expense environment.
• Balance multiple priorities with agility to handle ad-hoc issues and perform operational tasks.
• Manage releases to ensure successful adoption of features for clients.
• Facilitate manual and automated data imports and exports.
• Maintain multiple customer environments on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to end users.
• Monitor, update, and close support tickets in Brookfield's IT service support tool.
• Adhere to client's application support processes.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional and technical SAP Concur product knowledge.
• Mentor team members.

Position Requirements : Qualifications :

• Technical degree preferred.
• Experience in a client-facing role.
• Functional consulting experience preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience with SAP Concur solutions preferred.
• Experience with software as a service (hosted) preferred.
• Experience with financial applications or knowledge of accounting practices is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills to deliver clear messages to different stakeholder groups.
• Hands-on experience configuring software solutions to client specifications.
• Solid knowledge of Concur and related systems.
• Background in finance and accounting.
• BA / BS or equivalent experience desired.
• Experience with travel management and / or online booking tools and expense tools is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid, and ever-changing work environment, and able to facilitate changes as required.
• Quick learner and self-starter, able to manage hands-on in a team environment.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
