Personal Support Worker - Part Time Nights - Brucelea Haven - Walkerton, ON

About the Job

The nursing department at Brucelea Haven is accepting applications for Personal Support Workers. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) a Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care of residents in accordance with the residents’ care plan ensuring high quality care and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team.

Salary & Benefits

The wage for this position is $27.61 per hour, based on the UNIFOR collective agreement. The part time position will also receive 12% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation.

The Part Time Nights Lines are from 10PM to 6AM. Each open line contains 4 shifts within a two week period, which includes every other weekend.

• Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized College
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• TB Two Step Skin Test
• Provide Resident-focused care in terms of behavior and attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Patience, flexibility and adaptability are required
• Computer skills
• Point Click Care would be an asset
