Payroll Specialist – Toronto, ON

Salary : $65,000k - $75,000k

Our client, a leader in the furniture industry since 1975, specializes in office and workspace solutions, offering comprehensive services from design and sourcing to installation. With a strong customer focus and a family-oriented culture, they are seeking a Payroll Specialist to play a key role in their growing organization.

The Role

As a Payroll Specialist , you will have the opportunity to develop policies and procedures, streamline processes, and enhance payroll operations across multiple divisions in Canada and the U.S. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for eight divisions across Canada and the U.S., ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Streamline and integrate payroll processes across divisions.
  • Prepare journal entries and submit payroll tax information.
  • Administer benefits and assist with HR-related tasks.

  • Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on payroll administration experience.
  • Experience with multi-division and hourly payroll is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Payroll certification or equivalent coursework.
