The Opportunity :

WSP has an opportunity for a Group Administrator to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is expected that you are self-motivated and will demonstrate strong time management and communication skills.

What you can expect to do here :

  • Assisting with letters, client correspondence, and presentations
  • Coordinating travel and bookings for the group
  • Working closely with Project Managers by offering consistent & professional administrative support with their daily project requests
  • General filing and archiving, and other administrative duties as required - from our Vancouver and Burnaby offices
  • Coordinating with subcontractors
  • Project administration support
  • Preparing Purchase Orders and Work Orders
  • General assistance to other Administrative Assistants in the national team, as required
  • The role is based on 22.5 hours per week with the option to work up to 37.5 hours per week as needed - days per week are flexible as long work is conducted during core business hours
  • What you'll bring to WSP :

  • 2-3 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
  • Graduate of business administration diploma preferred
  • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and implement systems
  • Desire to develop a career in administrative support
  • Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks
  • Strong written English skills
  • Experience with budget tracking
  • Excellent organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up)
  • Good communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing)
  • Background in technical writing, editing or word processing is an asset
  • Friendly and pleasant manner
  • Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions
  • Advanced skills (Microsoft application Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and PowerBI and Oracle)
  • Ability to work from our Vancouver and Burnaby offices to provide local admin support
  • Compensation

    Salary range (in British Columbia) : $ 46800 - $50700

    The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
