What You’ll Do

As a Senior Systems Administrator - DevOps , you’ll play a key role in collaborating with our development and infrastructure teams to optimize application testing, releases, and deployments in a robust, high-performance live environment . You will :

  • Automate and streamline application testing, releases, and deployments to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance CI / CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Develop and implement CI / CD solutions using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to enable continuous integration and delivery
  • Optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Manage and fine-tune VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and VMware ESXi , ensuring high availability and performance
  • Design and implement OpenStack cloud solutions to support scalable applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance using ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Implement and maintain automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management
  • Ensure system security and compliance, working closely with security teams to establish best practices
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams for infrastructure and application deployments
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshoot production incidents , particularly those related to Windows, SQL, IIS, and Linux systems
  • Support disaster recovery planning and execution, participating in regular drills and proactive maintenance to ensure business continuity
  • Optimize system performance through proactive tuning and resource management
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

What Will Make You an Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or systems engineering in Windows, Linux, and SQL-based environments.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.

Deep expertise in cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.

Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools, including Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.

Familiarity with security best practices, including system hardening and compliance frameworks.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve production incidents.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong background in SQL Server, including performance tuning, backup strategies, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with web servers like IIS, Apache, and NGINX
