Quality Assurance Manager

We pride ourselves on adhering to industry-leading standards such as AS9100D and ISO, and we're looking for a dedicated Aerospace Quality Assurance Manager to ensure our quality management systems remain robust and compliant.Job Summary : The Aerospace Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100D standards. This role involves conducting regular quality walkthroughs, addressing non-conformances, and leading internal and external audit preparations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong background in quality assurance within the aerospace industry.Key Responsibilities : Maintain & Improve QMS : Update and enhance our Quality Management System to ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100D and ISO standards.Weekly Walkthroughs : Conduct weekly walkthroughs of the office (quality, deburring, shipping / receiving) and shop floor to verify compliance with the quality manual.Document, address, and resolve any non-conformances immediately to ensure continuous compliance.Customer Non-Conformance Management : Spearhead the investigation and resolution of any non-conformances raised by customers.Audit Leadership : Lead internal audits and prepare thoroughly for external audits, including those conducted by customers and certification bodies.Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections, and corrective actions.Provide regular status reports to senior management on QMS performance and improvement initiatives.Qualifications : Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field (Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred).Experience : 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role in the aerospace industry.Demonstrated experience with AS9100D and ISO management systems.Skills & Competencies : Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in documenting processes and non-conformances.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Familiarity with audit procedures and change management processes.Why Join Our Company?Be part of an innovative aerospace team committed to excellence and safety.Opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic work environment.Flexible employment arrangements with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
