Services will generally be performed remotely. Proponents are advised that occasionally from time to time CDT will require some Services to be performed at Province facilities on-site. Such facilities may include the Province facility located at 4000 Seymour Place in Victoria, British Columbia or other sites within the Capital Regional District and may also include sites in other locations throughout British Columbia ( "CDT Designated Facilities ).

Architect Lead

Role Title : Architect Lead

Competency

Level : Experience :

7-10 years of recent experience.

Competencies :

The Province requires the Architect Lead to have proficiency in the following areas :

• Experience leading multi-discipline design teams of architects, developers and analysts on strategic projects;
• Ability to produce high level deliverables including strategies, architectures, policies and solutions;
• Effective management of working relationships with project teams including public sector senior architects, directors, managers and project managers;
• Experience working in a systems development lifecycle framework using Agile and Scrum;
• Experience delivering architecture and solutions for initiatives with complex business, process, strategy and IM / IT requirements;
• Strong architecture skills, including experience with most of the development platforms and technologies described in the other roles in this list;
• Ability to understand and communicate business objectives and to describe how proposed solutions will achieve the intended objectives;
• Experience delivering complex technical solutions with multiple points of integration with other internal and external systems;
• Understand how to re-platform a complex system and related data while maintaining the integrity of the current business assets and investments;
• Experience developing web and mobile applications;
• Experience on identity management projects;
• Understanding of BC Government identity information management strategies and standards (available on the CDT Program's public website ); and
• Experience with authentication and identity federation architecture and related technologies and industry standards.
