Position : School Vice Principal
Location : Dasmesh Punjabi School, Abbotsford, BC
Salary : $80,000 to $115,000 annually (to be negotiated)
Hours : 40 hours per week, Full-time, Day, Starts as soon as possible

Work Location : Must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option
Responsibilities :
- Assure community participation in programs for a school district
- Direct, through school principals, the academic affairs of a school district
- Evaluate teachers and support staff
- Evaluate teaching methods and quality of instructions
- Oversee the activities of teachers and support staff
- Revise programs based on academic performance level
- Recruit and hire teachers and other staff
- Develop and administer programs for the education and training of students and adults
- Direct or supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of teachers
- Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum
- Coordinate teaching activities
- Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards
- Supervision of 16-20 people
Credentials :
Provincial teacher's certificate; area of specialization : School principal
