We are currently seeking a Weekend Shift Shop QA / QC Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible).

Possess CWB Level 1 CertificationHave 2+ years previous Quality Control experienceHave CSTS-09 / 2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticketHave a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practicesShow a proven commitment to SafetyHave the ability to use tools and equipment safelyCommitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and proceduresComplete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steelRecord welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheetsPrepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure testsInstall name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI'sComplete Quality Control paperworkBe able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades presentHave the ability to perform outside / inside work, sometimes in inclimate weather conditionsMeet the physical demands of the positionBe able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on / off equipment, up / down laddersExperience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asse
