Key Account Manager - Montreal, QC

Join ArdoVLM, a leading global supplier of frozen vegetables, fruit, and potatoes, as we continue to expand our market presence. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic retail team in Montreal, QC.

In this role, you will :

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retail customers.
  • Drive sales growth and profitability within assigned accounts.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent ArdoVLM at industry events and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead bid processes, ensuring competitive pricing and successful contract negotiations.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives to increase market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the new product launch process, including timelines, budgets, and cross-functional team coordination.
  • Prepare and analyze regular performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure account profitability and service level agreements are met.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer issues and challenges.

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in account management.
  • Experience in the Food Industry, Manufacturing, and Private Label, a strong asset.
  • Experience leading teams an asset
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English language fluency required.
