About the Role :

Vitacore Industries is looking for an Engineering Team Lead with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation to develop, train, lead, and manage the engineering team. The engineering team plays a crucial role in setting up and maintaining manufacturing and recycling equipment, among many other projects.

This individual will also work closely with the R&D team, assisting with various R&D-focused projects, manufacturing processes, facility improvements, or other projects required by the company, all the while applying your past experience.

Responsibilities include :

• Technical leadership and guidance : Offer solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring the team is following best practices.
• Team Management and Development : Support the professional growth of team members through mentoring, one-on-ones, and training opportunities.
• Project Management : Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and team members to set project priorities and define timelines.
• Cross-functional communication : Work closely with product management, design, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Customer focus : Ensure that the team is aligned with user needs, understanding and incorporating customer feedback when necessary.
• Ensure Quality and Efficiency : Ensure that the team adheres to coding standards, testing protocols, and documentation requirements.
