The Millwright will be responsible for :
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing / replacing a broad variety of industrial mechanical equipment and systems
- Perform predictive / preventative maintenance according to PM schedule and maintaining accurate records of completed work
- Assembling and disassembling machinery, removing, repairing or fabricating new parts as required.
- Working with millwrights and other maintenance staff to ensure plant & all processing equipment is in safe, operational order 24 / 7
- Assist other teams / departments as necessary
The required qualifications for the Millwright are :
- Red Seal Millwright trade qualification
- 2-3 years of mechanical maintenance experience within a relevant industrial or production environment
- Welding and fabricating skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team
