Yard Forklift Driver - Day Shift

Job Description

• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line using a propane or electrical sit-down forklift
• Transport various materials and / or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and / or overturns : pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
• Outdoor work environment
• Be buckled up at all times
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties
