Continuing on our success and further growth plans, CGC Group of Companies is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team.CGC Group of Companies is proudly part of the NIBE Climate Solutions Group (Sweden).We designed and manufactured the first ever Hybrid Heat Pump System in the mid 1990's and now distribute this Canadian system throughout North America. We own and operate two manufacturing facilities in Fergus, Ontario with our Corporate office being in Mississauga, Ontario.We are a multi-faceted company with our manufacturing facilities, distribution network and a GTA sales organization. To be based in either our Mississauga, ON or Fergus, ON location with travel between the two as needed, the successful candidate will possess strong organizational and planning skills, as well as strong communication skills. Additionally, a successful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism while contributing to our friendly environment with their upbeat and positive attitude.The IT Systems Administrator role will support CGC Group locally and also receive support and backup from the extended NIBE IT North America team.The position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of the company intranets and computer systems. Duties include assigning and maintaining user access, installing and maintaining software, responding to employee concerns relating to IT, troubleshooting IT issues, and writing policy documents and training materials for employees. Manages servers, network equipment, and other related IT infrastructure. Coordinates with company leadership to determine new technologies and enhancements for company’s systems.Duties involved with this position include : Sets up and maintains user access for all employeesImplements & manages user and network securityEnsures security through access controls, backups and firewallsBuilds and modifies custom reports within multiple platformsResearches, recommends, and purchases new hardware and softwareEvaluates existing software applications & performs routine updates / modificationsInstalls and maintains new software & hardware ensuring licensing laws are followedManages and maintains file servers, software and hardwareWrites documents for user-training and supportManages secure network access for remote usersAudits network security and compliance requirementsFollows all processes and procedures in place and identifies areas for continuous improvementCompliance and understanding of all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedAdditional Duties / Responsibilities : Support company initiatives to build tools, dashboards, and apps that make the way our employees work easier, quicker, and more informedBuilding and maintaining mobile apps in MS Power Apps / TeamsFacilitate the completion of a company-wide performance dashboardDevelop solutions within the organization’s available technology stackEducation & Experience : Postsecondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineer or a related discipline3-5 years’ experience working with Microsoft server systems, and software environment requiredPrevious experience designing and implementing reporting solutions (Excel, PowerBI, etc.)Previous exposure / experience working in a manufacturing environment with ERP systems would be an assetKnowledge / Skills : Demonstrate sound work ethicsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, software installation and maintenanceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work independently as well as with a team, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers / vendorsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain a high level of accuracyJoin our team and enjoy a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth, and competitive compensation.
