Job descriptionDrive, operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground! Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back Ensure safety for all team members and property Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time Provide guidance to Laborers as required Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements Valid Class 1 or 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours) 1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environment (pressure and vacuum experience an asset) CSTS-09 , BSO or CSO certification required Confined Space, Fall Protection and First Aid certification an asset but not required, we will train you! H2S Alive an asset Able to provide a negative result on pre-employment drug and alcohol test Able to travel to shop location in Carseland Strong mechanical aptitude Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis) Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions

CEDA is currently seeking a Driver / Operator with Class 1 or 3 for our Pressure and Vacuum division at the Calgary / Carseland, AB location!
