Job Description :  We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration construction industry and be well-versed in managing projects involving swing stage equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from estimating and tendering to planning and execution to completion and warranty services, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review progress on the job site for conformance to project specifications.
  • Write site visit reports to document progress and corrections.
  • Coordinate equipment and materials procurement and deliveries.
  • Maintain the overall project budget and schedule and communicate same to stakeholders as required.
  • Review labour and material expenses internally with the team each month.
  • Prepare invoices, warranties and submittals.
  • Read construction drawings and perform quantity takeoffs in spreadsheets.
  • Assemble project budget estimates and update mid-project.
  • Prepare Swing Stage work plans, emergency plans, and hazard assessments.
  • Hold safety meetings with workers prior to starting a project to orientate workers to the work and emergency plans, the hazards and the requirements of the project.
  • Manage all communication between the customer and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Required Qualifications :

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work with mathematical quantities and take complex measurements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Be a self-starter to actively manage projects.
  • Use of own transportation is required.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the restoration construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience working on projects requiring swing stage equipment.
  • Experience planning, reviewing, working from or executing swing stage setups.
  • Experience with masonry restoration, concrete restoration, sealant restoration and waterproofing restoration.

    • The successful candidate will be reimbursed for travel to project sites from the office, and will be provided with cell phone, computer and necessary software to operate as an integrated part of the team.
