SALARY : $21.75 (After 120 day probationary period - increases to $21.95)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Operate high-speed production machinery, including mechanical troubleshootingPerform product changeovers, CIPs on the can filler, and equipment sanitationTrack packaging materials for usage / loss rates, maintain packaging machine performance logs, and participate in process improvement initiativesPerform regular quality control checks, ensuring that product is produced within specificationsEnsure all company-issued policies / SOPs are followedManual and repetitive lifting, stacking, and rotatingOther duties may be assigned as requiredJOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Grade 12 education or equivalent (proof required). Post-secondary education considered an assetExceptional performance, discipline and attendance recordAbility to follow health and safety rules and proceduresAbility to work independently and cooperatively with co-workersPositive attitudeComfortable with Afternoon and Night shiftsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility and willingness to learn supply chain related computer softwareEngage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to : prolonged standing, walking, lifting pushing, twisting, pulling and bendingLift object up to 50 lbsWork in an enclosed environmentClimb a ladder / stairsWork on slippery floorLift objects higher than the shouldersOperate motorized equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacksExposure to noiseExposure to vibration.Participate in the hearing conservation program.Ability to wear all PPE as required : including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap (plastic insert), hearing protection (jewelry must be taken off)WHY LABATT :
