Ballygirreen, Co. Clare Closing date : 11 / 04 / 2025 AirNav Ireland is recruiting for the role of Head of Operations North Atlantic Communications Centre (NAC). AirNav Ireland provides air traffic management services in the 451,000 km2 of airspace controlled by Ireland. This airspace forms a crucial gateway for air traffic between Europe and North America. AirNav Ireland’s North Atlantic Communications Centre provides communications services on the eastern half of the North Atlantic and is located in Ballygirreen, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative Company. The Head of Operations North Atlantic Communications is responsible for the safe and efficient management of day-to-day operations at NAC. This includes overseeing operational staff, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to aviation customers and maintaining compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications : Candidates must have a third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, along with at least seven years in a senior aviation role. Leadership and management skills are crucial. Desirable Skills : Experience on ICAO panels (International Civil Aviation Organisation) and knowledge of oceanic communication operations are beneficial.
