About Us : We are a dynamic and growing manufacturing company based in Toronto, committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation. We are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our night shift and contribute to the continued success of our operations.

Position Overview : As the Production Supervisor on the night shift, you will oversee and coordinate all daily activities on the production floor. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers to meet targets while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Your leadership will be key in managing the shift effectively and addressing any challenges that arise during production.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and mentor a team of production workers, ensuring that production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the manufacturing process during the night shift.
  • Monitor production timelines, troubleshoot any operational issues, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address challenges.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and enforce safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train and develop team members, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and timely, including daily reports for management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts.
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies for the shift to avoid production delays.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment .
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of employees.
  • Must be flexible and able to work the night shift and adjust hours as needed.
  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Some formal education in engineering or a related field is ideal (e.g., mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
