Job description

Role : Lead Business Analyst

Locations : Mississauga, ON

Duration : 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years’ experience in financial services.
  • Knowledge of OTC derivatives products / asset classes and swap data reporting requirements for CFTC / SEC / CAD is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Equities, Fixed income, Municipal securities products. Prior experience with FINRA reporting a plus (CAT, TRACE, etc.)
  • Knowledge technical understanding of SFT transactions including securities lending & borrowing processes.
  • Familiarity with NAM regulations (SEC, CFTC, CAD) is a huge plus.
  • Experience in leading initiatives in Middle Office, Operations or Operations Control at a broker / dealer is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of projects, operational process changes and improvement, preferably within capital markets operations
  • Experience in collecting, defining, and documenting business and technology requirements, test plans and other project management artifacts
  • Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements.
