0.4 FTE Intermediate (Gr. 4-7) Term assignment at J.T. Brown Elementary School ending June 30, 2025 or return of incumbent (teacher who owns the position) not to exceed June 30, 2025.

This position will earn the successful candidate a continuing contract with the district.

Subjects include Core French and Health.

J.T. Brown Elementary is in the Tamanawis / Panorama / Sullivan area and has 280 students. This school is multicultural. Has combined classes at most grade levels, inquiry interest in literacy with focus on writing / vocabulary and supporting students who are ELL, library learning commons and collaborative learning communities.

Intermediate prep teachers provide instruction in one or two subjects of the BC curriculum to multiple classes from grade 4 to grade 7

The schedule for this 0.4 FTE position at J.T. Brown is Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Requirements :

Bachelor of Education

Valid BC Teaching Certificate

Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
