What will you do :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Internal Audit Associate Vice President at our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Center of Excellence (COE) while driving advancements in data analytics and artificial intelligence within our internal audit function.

Lead and oversee the Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring efficient operations and strategic alignment with the organization's goals.

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to advance data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities within the internal audit function to assess and monitor risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and cost optimization through the utilization of data analytics and AI technologies.

Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of talented professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring their expertise aligns with emerging industry trends.

Drive the implementation of advanced data analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.

Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, IT teams, and business unit heads, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of objectives.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements related to data analytics and AI in order to drive continuous improvement within the internal audit function.

What do you bring :

Post-secondary education in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other advanced degree preferred.

Strong understanding of data analytics concepts and proficiency in one or more of the following : SQL, Python, R, Scala, C / C# / C++ and / or Java, Tableau, Hadoop ecosystem, and emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning).

Extensive experience (8+ years) in internal audit or related fields with a focus on data analytics or AI and working with / analyzing large data both structured and unstructured data.

Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving strategic initiatives within an internal audit function or related domain.

Familiarity with auditing standards (e.g., COSO), risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000), and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems using data-driven approaches.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence others, build relationships, and drive change in a collaborative manner.
