You will regularly interact with our customers, and engineering and business leadership. You will participate in the planning and execution of technology projects and operational excellence initiatives.
You'll help junior engineers develop their skills, and continue to raise the bar and build the future of Amazon.
To accomplish this, you will be expected to have an established background in building highly scalable systems and applications, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex software systems, is customer-centric, and feels strongly about building good software as well as making that software achieve its operational goals.
Experience with building and operating web-based applications and / or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, will be very applicable and helpful.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
