Junior AccountantLocation : Downtown Vancouver (Hybrid)Hays Recruitment has partnered up with a state-of-the-art Real Estate developer based in Vancouver (the role is flexible and hybrid). This client develops residential andmercial properties throughout British Columbia. - Assist with preparing and maintaining financial statements
- Full-cycle accounting
- Monthly bank, GL, subledger reconciliations and other working papers
- Assist with and learn month-end close procedures and other financial reporting deliverables including balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and assist with projects to support the project accountant team, finance team, including financial analysis and key performance indicator monitoring, and full cycle project accounting support
- Account Payable and invoicing tasks
- Reconciling vendor accounts
- Conducting ad hoc based projects and analysis as needed
- Work along the senior accounting team and the controller to achievepany wide goals
