- Over of 1-2 direct reports and support them in their role by advising and coaching
- Responsible for the month end close process
- Review journal entries, eliminations and reoccurring entries and accruals along with reconciliations
- Reviewing monthly and quarterly variance analyses
- Assist with the quarterly and annual financial reporting process (group consolidation, preparation of financial statements, MD&A and press release)
- Preparation of monthly internal reporting deliveries to senior management
- Assist with the interim and year-end audit
- Identify financial process improvement opportunities
- Participate in special projects as required
- Liaise with operational and other corporate departments

- CPA or CA Designation
- 4+ years' of experience within the finance and accounting department
- Advanced Excels skills
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Ability to deal with change in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP when seeing through technical and reporting requirements
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Multi-tasking, adaptability, and adherence to deadlines
- Supervisory experience including the training and mentoring of others
- Conflict management and negotiations
