Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP).
As an HRBP with REDspace, you’ll play a key role in our People & Culture team, working alongside passionate HR professionals to support both our employees and leaders in building a dynamic, high-performing workplace. You’ll be a true partner to the business, helping teams develop, grow, and succeed while ensuring HR strategies align with REDspace’s goals. This is a hybrid role based in our Bedford, NS office, with a minimum of three days per week of in-office presence.
About the Role.
- Strategic Partnership & Leadership Support – Act as a trusted advisor to Delivery Team Leads and Directors, providing guidance on workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational strategy. Support change management initiatives and help teams navigate transitions effectively.
- Performance Management & Coaching – Partner with leaders to strengthen performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and employee development plans. Facilitate coaching sessions and workshops to enhance leadership capabilities and foster continuous growth.
- Workforce Planning & Talent Development – Identify skill gaps and collaborate with leadership to implement targeted training, development, and succession strategies. Work closely with the Recruitment & Talent team to refine hiring processes and improve onboarding experiences.
- Employee Engagement & Retention – Drive initiatives that promote employee satisfaction, inclusivity, and career development within Delivery teams. Collect and analyze engagement feedback to implement meaningful actions that strengthen retention and workplace culture.
- Policy Development & Implementation – Ensure HR policies are communicated effectively and consistently applied. Provide guidance to leaders and employees on compliance, best practices, and policy updates to support a fair and transparent work environment.
- Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives – Support the People & Culture team in delivering leadership development programs and career pathways for employees. Design and implement training initiatives focused on coaching, communication, and team growth, while continuously evaluating their impact.
- HR Operations & Support – Provide hands-on HR support to managers and employees, ensuring policies, programs, and initiatives align with REDspace’s people-first approach. Assist with employee relations, offering guidance to ensure fair and consistent HR practices.
Skills / Experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in HR Roles with a focus on business partnership, employee relations, and / or talent development.Strong knowledge of HR best practices in performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.Proven ability to influence and coach leaders, providing strategic guidance and tactical solutions.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolutions skills.Bonus Points.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CHRP).Experience supporting technical or innovation-driven teams.Background in implementing L&D and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs.High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Working at REDspace.
