POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing accurate information and support to our customers. This position works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Receive, analyze and process customer purchase orders and EDI using EPICS System. Act as a customer liaison and report / resolve customer related sales order issues. Track flow of material and work with other departments to support on time delivery objectives. Communicate with customers on shipment status as requested. Internal escalation of at risk deliveries (i.e. Scheduling, Operations, Shipping etc) Communicate with the shipping department on expedites and urgent shipments as needed. Investigate customer complaints with regard to orders and update account details with pertinent information. Respond to all customer emails / phone calls in a timely fashion and escalate to the proper person or department if necessary. Work individually and as a group to complete Can Art improvement initiatives. Help in other areas when needed (i.e. conduct inventory counts, schedule and track internal / external material flow, prepare reports for management as requested, etc.) Back up and assist Senior Customer Service Representative as required. WHO YOU ARE Post-secondary education in Business Administration. 2 years of experience in an office setting Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Experience using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience using EPICS and Crystal Reports is an asset.
