Controller

We are hiring for a 3-6 month contract opportunity at the Controller level, to join our client in the Manufacturing / Retail industry based onsite in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Your main responsibilities in this role include;

• To be part of the leadership team and assist in strategy development.
• Manage financial operations including forecasting, reporting, risk management, etc.
• Oversee accounting department operations such as Billing, A / R, A / P, etc.
• Design an organizational structure to achieve company goals.
• Maintain internal controls to support financial infrastructure.
• Ensure legal compliance and advise management.
• Coordinate budget preparation, financial forecasts and report variances.
• Provide interpretations on accounting policies.
• Analyze financial data, present reports to management, and make recommendations.

This is a full time contract position for 3-6 months with the potential to become a more permanent position, working for an organization based in Vancouver working onsite.
