Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Director of finance, the accounting manager will be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Manage a portfolio of income producing commercial properties.
  • Manage full cycle reporting, maintain and improve processes and controls.
  • Work on month end closing reporting, quarterly reports, annual budgets and CAM reconciliations.
  • Process annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ASPE accounting standards.
  • Streamline accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support the IPP team with special projects
  • Work in collaboration with external auditors for year-end audits
  • Provide ongoing guidance and training to team members

REQUIREMENTS

  • Designated CPA
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Public practice experience is an asset.
  • Property accounting experience is an asset

  • Salary : $100,000 to $120,000
