Consultant, Acoustics and Vibrations (Mid - Level)

ERM is seeking a self-starting, dynamic Consultant, Acoustics and Vibrations (Mid - Level) , with a focus on acoustic and vibration engineering. In this role, you will conduct high-quality environmental noise assessment, pre-and-post construction noise surveys, and acoustical modeling, while also providing noise mitigation recommendations to ERM’s clients. This position is a remote position primarily based in Toronto, and other locations across Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide creative and fit-for-purpose acoustical technical analyses for client projects.
• Conduct field work across a range of environments and conditions for noise and vibration measurement studies.
• Develop and execute baseline noise surveys and predictive modeling for noise impact assessment projects.
• Analyze data from web-based research, aerial imagery, and survey reports to assess project-related noise impacts.
• Act as the subject matter expert for noise impact analysis in Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements across various Canadian and international jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with ERM’s Acoustical Technical Community.
• Engage in agency consultations and participate in site visits, as well as agency and public meetings, as necessary.
• Work within quality / budget / schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
• Ensure all work aligns with quality, budget, and schedule expectations, adhering to ERM's management system and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS :

For the Consultant, Acoustics and Vibrations (Mid - Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $75,448 – $93,854 (CAD). An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term / flex force employees are NOT bonus eligible).
