Controller

Our Fraser Valley development and construction client is looking to hire a Controller for their well established organization. Reporting to ownership this is a hands on role where the Controller will have responsibility for all ongoing projects, the P& L, the consolidated financial reporting package for 8-9 entities and supervision of two staff.

The Controller, ideally, will have their CPA and at least 10-15 years of overall accounting experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of working as a Controller for a development and or construction where they reported directly to ownership. You must have experience supervising at least one to two staff members and you are willing to mentor someone in the CPA program. You enjoy working in smaller company environments and you want to own accounting. You are an effective communicator and people describe you as adding value to leadership teams.
