LOGISTICS COORDINATOR POSITION AT EACAN TIMBER LTD
- Coordinate transportation and other logistical processes such as : planning and hiring trucks to transport lumber from mills to distribution centers and lumber yards
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, pick up / delivery commitments are met
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
- Partner and communicate with management, employees, suppliers, and customers
- Coordinate and develop logistics sector
- Plan and schedule the loading of trucks and outgoing orders
- Make sure orders are accurately filled and delivered
- Manage and maintain working relations with a high volume of carrier companies
- Help direct, control and co-ordinate shipping, receiving, delivery and freight-forwarding activities according to each sector of the job.
