Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is looking for a Senior Manager, Business to Business (B2B) to join our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team on a permanent basis. This hybrid position is based in Saskatoon, SK.

- Drive Operational Efficiencies : Implement strategies to maximize margins, improve product assortments, and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Employee Engagement : Monitor and engage employees in category management processes, focusing on maximizing margins, product assortment planning, and negotiations. Coach, mentor, and develop the team through talent management processes.Category Development : Communicate and align initiatives with zone HABS teams and retail locations. Collaborate with the FCL Central Procurement Team and suppliers to enhance category management through industry trends and market research.Growth Initiatives : Oversee category growth initiatives, working with marketing and sales to drive new product offerings, programs, and pricing strategies. Participate in contractor shows and other events to stimulate sales.Program Development : Lead the development of HABS programs, ensuring alignment with market direction to grow sales and profitability. Identify and implement process changes, adopting new technologies and software.Negotiations : Lead negotiations with the national buying group and vendors.Business Planning : Develop yearly business plans, category strategies, and budgets for sales, inventory, and profitability. Work with the Category Management team and Marketing to monitor and achieve targets.Special Projects : Collaborate with senior management and other departments on special projects to improve efficiency, sales, and margins.Collaborative Relationships : Provide support to local Co-ops, developing programs like installation services and launching innovative processes and technology to support LBM sales and elevate service offerings.Who You'll Work With : You will lead a fast-paced and dynamic Lumber Procurement and Operations team as well as a Category Management team to drive the home centre strategy for the Co-op Retail System. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders and have regular connections with our customer / owners of local co-op home centres. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, expertise, and results.
