Job description

Adecco is looking for a full-time motivated and detail-oriented Car Washer to join the team at Porsche, a luxury automotive retailer in North York. ON. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires someone who is 21 years of age or older, holds a valid G license, and has the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Must be available to work full-time hours from 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays.

  • Pay rate : $18 / hour
  • Location : North York, ON (401 and Victoria Park)
  • Shifts : Monday to Saturday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm, alternating Saturdays
  • Job type : Long-term | full-time

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in detailing is an asset
  • 6 months work experience in a related position (automotive, retail, hospitality, or general labour)
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.
  • Valid and current Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Ability to maintain a good driving record
  • People-focused and passionate about providing great customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

    • Responsibilities :

  • Performing a variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as (but not limited to) washing, polishing, buffing, interior cleaning, and window cleaning.
  • Cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devises.
  • Inspecting quality of work to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Recording customer concerns and passing them on to the correct contact person
  • Supporting colleagues as required (i.e. standing in during absences)
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements
  • Welcoming prospects and customers, identifying their concerns and notifies the relevant colleague
  • Inspiring enthusiasm for the brand among new prospects and customers and develops and maintains existing relationships.
