Job Summary :
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Precinct Services department is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual for the regular full-time position of Procurement Coordinator.
Reporting to the Procurement Team Lead, the Procurement Coordinator (Coordinator) is responsible for supporting the Central Procurement Team (CPT) in providing procurement management support to Legislative Assembly departments on all aspects of the procurement life cycle. This position coordinates various procurement activities including supplier management, contract administration, maintaining procurement records, financial reporting, and general office administration.
