Mechanical engineer - Product development

As a Mechanical Engineer-Product Development, you will play a key role in customer relations and in the design and optimization of metal parts produced by casting. You'll be involved in tooling design, material analysis and casting process simulation to ensure the performance and quality of finished products. You'll have the chance to collaborate with other departments to improve manufacturing methods, reduce costs and ensure compliance with technical standards.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

• Computer-aided tooling design
• Production support, analyzing production problems and implementing solutions
• Finite element analysis
• Participation in the new product submission process
• Management of customer communications for production start-up parts
• Responsible for production part approval process (PPAP) and schedule
• Interact with subcontractors as part of the PPAP process
