What you will be doing :
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging servicePerform massage and body treatments while maintaining the clients comfort at all timesPerform 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute massage and body treatmentsEnsure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectationsMaintain an ample supply of massage oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work areaMaintain a clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working orderActively participate in other areas of the Spa Operation such as product knowledge and retail salesEnsure awareness of current trends in body treatmentsAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications
Your experience and skills include :
Previous experience in a Spa preferredCertification from an accredited school of Massage requiredAll professional licenses are to be currentExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional Information
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to) : Frequent standing and walking. Frequent bending and kneeling. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20lbs. Occasional pushing and pulling.
Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
