As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be instrumental in building the basis of a strong marketing team in the busy and exciting world of travel. This role supports various aspects of the marketing and sales department, ensuring our brand continues to shine across all touchpoints. From keeping itineraries polished to managing photo assets, this role is perfect for a highly organized individual with a passion for travel, storytelling, and collaboration.

This role has the following responsibilities :

Itinerary Management

  • Maintain and update all trip itineraries to reflect current offerings, ensuring alignment with Butterfield & Robinson’s brand and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Experience Designers to gather trip updates and ensure itineraries authentically capture each destination.

Social Media Management

  • Assist in managing social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with the online community.
  • Support the social media team with content scheduling, brainstorming, and trend monitoring to strengthen brand presence.
  • Photo Asset Management

  • Organize and manage photo assets from travellers, ensuring images are properly named, categorized, and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with global teams to verify photo locations and maintain accurate metadata.
  • Trip Photo Album Management

  • Oversee traveller photo albums, ensuring each trip has a designated shared album.
  • Work with trip leaders and teams to collect and curate high-quality images.
  • Graphic Design

  • Assist with graphic design tasks, including business cards, internal materials, social media graphics, and gift cards.
  • This role requires the following experience and qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years in a marketing or administrative role; experience in the travel or luxury sector is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and using content management tools.
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with photo management tools such as Media Valet, Google Photos, Adobe Lightroom, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
