Responsibilities
- Design and implement security objectives, policies, protocols and compliance rules aligned with security best practices.
- Provide strategic and operational security support to senior management and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to address security issues and integrate security measures into business processes.
- Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization through training and communication.
- Identify and recommend innovative technological solutions to enhance security.
- Oversee, investigate and report on security and criminal incidents, and coordinate with appropriate authorities as required.
- Maintain detailed security documentation and reports on incidents, investigations and the organization's compliance status.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various security scenarios.
- Lead the organization's response to security incidents and crisis situations.
- Determine needs and supervise third parties (security guards).
- Act as main point of contact with authorities.
Qualifications
10 to 15 years' experience in safety management, including loss prevention and investigation responsibilities, preferably in the transportation and logistics sector.Degree in security management, criminology, business administration or other relevant field.Licensed investigator.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities and complex situations with integrity, confidentiality, rigor and professionalism.Proven ability to analyze safety risks, develop objectives or policies, and develop effective mitigation strategies.In-depth knowledge of security regulations and standards.Crisis management and incident response skills.Excellent leadership, change management and strategic communication skills.Excellent command of technology tools and advanced security solutions.Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite software.Fluently bilingual (French / English), both written and spoken.Must possess a vehicle and a class 5 driver's license.Frequent travel required - must be able to travel to different stations across Canada and potentially internationally.Intelcom is a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector.
