Job description

JOB STATEMENT : We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Portfolio Administrator to provide operational support to the Private Client team and exceptional client service in the Vancouver office. The successful candidate will work closely with a Portfolio Manager, providing accurate, timely information and service support. This position will appeal to someone who is passionate about client service, zealous in their pursuit of operational efficiency, and comfortable working in a team-based environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Ensure a positive and professional client experienceLead and execute the account onboarding, closing, and transfer process, while adhering to compliance requirementsUnderstand GCA investment products and servicesCarry out transactional requests and coordinate cash settlements, as neededInvestigate and resolve all client inquiriesRespond to client, referral advisor, and custodian requestsMaintain client contact details and important documentation in CRM database (Salesforce)Work closely with internal operational teams to resolve issues and respond to client requestsAssist with ad-hoc projects, including client eventsQUALIFICATIONS : University degree, preferably in business, finance, or economics2-5 years of office administrative experience2-5 years of experience working in the investment or financial services industryCompletion (or current enrollment) in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detailStrong organizational and time-management skillsAdvanced level of proficiency in : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe AcrobatExperience with Salesforce CRM is an assetSCHEDULE : Monday to FridayLOCATION : In person (4 days in office, 1 day remote)COMPENSATION : Commensurate with experience
