We are seeking a full-time Network Technician with a passion for ensuring optimal network performance and the successful operation of diverse systems.

Our information technology systems department is a key component in enabling our superior customer service and in continually improving our operating performance.

By leveraging your knowledge of network hardware and your ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently, you will contribute to the reliability of our network and technology infrastructure.

This position will report to the IT Manager, This position does have a required start time of 7 : 30am each morning.

This position is a on-site position from Monday-Friday.

With 8 terminal locations across British Columbia, we fulfill shipments to communities within 1-3 days throughout BC and Alberta.

Between our own resources and our partner network, our coverage extends beyond Western Canada into the U.S.

and Eastern Canada.

Core Responsibilities : -Manage and maintain the infrastructure of the network, including hardware and peripherals such as PCs, routers, switches, servers, phone systems, mobile phones, printers, scanners, and security cameras.

  • Provide support for non-enterprise systems like Office 365, vehicle tracking, electronic driver log systems, and MS Dynamics GP in collaboration with the Systems Support team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and hardware issues efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure optimal performance of network systems, supporting both operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Who We Need : -We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment and possesses the following qualities : -Analytical & Detail-Oriented : You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • A Natural Communicator : You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate effectively and work closely with team members to resolve issues.
  • Tech-Savvy : You have a strong knowledge of network hardware and systems and are proficient in Office 365.
  • Experienced : With 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Technician and familiarity with complex network setups, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Certifications : You hold relevant academic qualifications or basic certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+.
  • Experience administrating Microsoft’s Ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive) -Experience with Dell Servers, SonicWALL Firewalls, Cisco Meraki Switches and access points -Proficient in managing windows servers including active directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP and VPN Technologies WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
