About the Role :

Are you passionate about working with high-end home appliances and eager to start a career in installation? Our client, a leading retailer of premium kitchen and laundry appliances, is seeking an Installer Helper to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the field, assisting with the installation of luxury appliances in customer homes across Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the installation of appliances in customer homes, ensuring no damage occurs.
  • Deliver products safely and efficiently into client kitchens.
  • Maintain supplies on vans and schedule maintenance appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with the service and install department regarding job completions and any issues.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately using company iPads.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating arrival and completion times.
  • Follow up on outstanding installations and liaise with the Installations and Distribution Manager to resolve issues.
  • Adhere to company standards for quality and quantity of work, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Present a professional appearance in company uniforms daily.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1 year of appliance installation experience preferred.
  • Gas fitter license (G2 or G3) is a must have.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in construction or trades is an asset.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
  • Must have access to a vehicle to meet technicians.
