SCOPE OF POSITION
- Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the growth of new customer accounts and supporting sales expansion in Montreal and Central US (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan).
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the limits of applicable policies, food safety and quality standards, the sales manager has the power to act and make decisions. Assignment of work or delegation of responsibilities does not remove accountability for results. Performance will be measured by their ability to fulfill their responsibilities.Functional responsibilities
Executes divisional sales strategies to maintain or exceed budget objectives.Prepares, plans, and executes the sales strategy for their territory.Plans, prepares, and carries out visits to regular and potential customers.Keeps prospecting list up to date.Prepares and presents price lists and quotations to customers; negotiates prices and contracts.Drafts letters, e-mails and quotations for processing and preparing customer orders.Follow-up ordersObtains and calculates annual sales and expenditure forecasts for the territory.Organizes test orders; follow up and record results.Organizes and advises customers on product design and features.Makes modifications to solve technical problems.Organizes, coordinates, and assists customers with design layout.Monitors the processing and progress of orders in the factory with the help of the CSRs.Prepares weekly call reports, notes, expenses, and monthly activity reports.Provides information on new accounts and credit control to accounting.Assists possibly in the collection of overdue account.Negotiates settlement of claims and terms and conditions of contracts with customersKeeps the Regional Sales Manager informed of all market activity in relation to customers and competitors.Attends authorized courses to improve skills in his / her field of activity.Travel required to customer sites, Montreal office and other locations as required for business needs.KEY LABOR RELATIONS

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the flexographic printing industryAutonomyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalCustomer service oriented (internal / external)Bilingual (French / English)Requirements :
