Role : Manager of Child Care Operations, Prince George Region (Term)
Wage : $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 Annual Salary, plus Government Wage Enhancement (currently $6.00 / hour for fully certified Early Childhood Educators)

Hours : Full-Time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to meet day-to-day operational needs of the centre
Term : August 19, 2024 - February 28, 2025 (with the possibility to extend)
Location : Prince George, working out of various YMCA BC centres within Prince George

Responsibilities of this role :
- Responsible for relationship building, coaching and performance management
- Accountable for achieving operational goals and delivering the business plan for all Child Care programs within the Prince George Region
- Managing and collaborating with Child Care Coordinators of the respective region
- Ability to create a team culture dedicated to children and quality child care
- Ability to train using adult learning principles
- Ensures quality delivery of YMCA curriculums that align with Y mission, vision and goals
- Maintain confidentiality of information related to the centre, children, families, and staff
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies
Qualifications :
- BC ECE Degree or Diploma or combination of ECE and experience
- 3 years’ leadership experience in child care and child development preferred
- Experience leading an effective, engaged team will be considered an asset
- Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search
- Three satisfactory professional references
- Reliable transportation within Prince George Region
