Principal Scientist, Drug Product CMC

We are once again partnering with a fantastic biotech client with a robust pipeline of both early and late stage assets. This role is to fill a Principal Scientist to join their Drug Product (Pre-Formulation) CMC team.

This is for a PhD with 10+ years of industry experience working on the development of preclinical formulations for in vivo assessment. Techniques used will be XRPD, DSC and PSD.

The chosen candidate will work closely with other groups that are part of the CMC department including Analytical Development, Process Chemistry, Drug Substance and Drug Product.

Must have experience with hands-on solid-state characterization techniques for small molecule APIs, and particle size reduction techniques such as micronization for preclinical evaluation.

Excellent communication abilities and a history of mentoring junior scientists is required.

This is a hands-on laboratory-based opportunity which includes managing a small team.
