Major Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise to client’s internal teams for the purposes of clinical engagement, planning and development of current and future connected care initiatives, closely aligned with emerging national needs.
- Supports collaborative engagement of nursing leaders regionally or nationally to drive meaningful engagement and builds support for connected care initiatives through clinical innovation. This includes attending events to represent and present on behalf of the client.
- Maintain relationships with national associations and key regional nursing stakeholders to understand interoperability barriers, risks and issues (e,g, Canadian Nurses Association).
- Support, participate and actively contribute to nursing communities of practice and / or working groups as required.
- Provides guidance and support related to professional practice, clinical requirements and implications to internal and external stakeholders, as it applies to connected care activities.
- Provides strategic input on clinical value, clinical acceptance, clinical integration and use of the digital health solutions within the practice settings based on emerging issues and trends, particularly pertaining to client’s connected care initiatives Roadmap.
- Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of practice-based reference material, learning packages, success stories, toolkits and related documentation for the Program as required.
Education & Certifications

Practicing registered nurse or nurse practitioner, licensed in one or more Canadian Jurisdictions7+ years recent clinical and leadership experience2 years’ experience in Education, Administration or Project ManagementExperience in local, regional, provincial or national implementation and adoption of health information systems across different care sectors (, primary care, hospitals, etc.)Broad knowledge and familiarity with Digital Health SolutionsExperience related to health systems, policy development, change management, evaluation and research as assetDemonstrated ability in complex analysis, critical thinking and problem solvingExcellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skillsMust be able to demonstrate appropriate professional conduct in the digital world (internet, social media, etc.)Other Requirements
